Looking good! Beautiful clowns, I hope she makes it. Soaking the mysis in a liquid garlic supplement might help rid of what she’s got going on, I think brightwell makes Some sort of garlic formula.

Couldn’t get this one to play.

Happy the clowns are eating well!
Yeah, I cant get any to play. Very strange.

I’m thinking of doing ruby reef + kick ich; I think I’m dealing with regular old ich. Only on the larger clown still but I would like to do something proactive about it since it’s been going on several days. I’ll grab some selcon and vitamins to enrich mysis feedings.

Sorry to hear that.
Are you sure the female didn’t come with Brook already? I see a spot on her fin in that first picture you posted of them…
It’s possible but the store I bought them from is the only Humblefish certified QT’d vendor in the US. I paid a premium for these clowns thinking they would be 100% disease free.

Somehow the shop that sold me the fish saw these posts and hit me up on IG for a replacement after my fallow period! I’ve never had such great service from a LFS! Wow! :star-struck:

Happy to report my tank is looking great! I added a bunch of cuc before I left for vacation and they went to town on the diatoms and algae’s on the aged live rock I added. I also have various species of pods all over the glass. All good signs. The water also looks that crystal-clear-super-static way of a well cycled tank.

I’m having mixed feelings on what I want to do with this tank now. My idea was set in stone with the BTA’s and clown pair at first but I really enjoyed having different types of fish (nano fish for this tank) with their own personalities coexisting, and god do I love coral… lol, which also don’t walk into powerheads :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Always exciting getting those first ones added! Nice shimmer too!
The first ones are so exciting! I’m heading to the coral farmers market this weekend. Already planning on getting a few things, lol.

Upgraded my water source and I am using tropic Marin Pro again. Did a nice 10g water change reset yesterday, try to drop that alk down from my prior store bought Reef Crystal water :dizzy-face:. I also dug all my test kits out of my storage unit and most of them aren’t expired! Yay!

For dosing I’m going to try tropic marin all-for-reef , since many people seem so fond of it. If that doesn’t work out how I like I’ll go back to b-ionic like I used in the past.

Goal for the day is upgrading my return pump. I’m still running the stock 195 gph AC pump. Hopefully the jebao DC 400gph won’t be to much trouble to swap in.
