your water is super clear tho!

did you do anything special with the pink lemonade? dips or anything?

i've had a couple of acros kinda die off like that. not RTN, but it was overnight. they have a different bleached look to them than RTN. i've left all of those in the tank hoping for a miracle lol
Thanks man! Nope nothing special, never took it out of the tank. I put it on the sandbed for awhile in a low flow spot. Noticed it coming back a month later and it was turning brown. A month after that it started to get green, now it’s greenish yellow with its pink polyps. :) hopefully it will start growing new branches and encrust more soon.

i'd say more fish, but didn't you have velvet or something awhile back? how have the fish been doing?
They are better, I for sure need more fish. I’m hesitant though due to not having a fallow period, I couldn’t catch them :( . My budget is stretched a little thin this month too, I just had to replace both throttles in my car, $2800 later..
I did however see a tomini in my LFS this morning, I asked if I could get it but the owner claimed, ‘he’s grown quite fond of that fish, it’s no longer for sale’ :( idk if that’s a reverse psychology sales tactic but I really really want that dang fish now!

To avoid bottoming out my nutrients I fed heavy tonight with mysis, using some to target feed my Lps. I pulled my chemipure elite bags in both tanks, reduced the Nopox dose and bumped the reef energy a&b dose up a tad. I reef roided last night and my phosphate was still 0 today. So I’m going to target feed reef roids again late tonight to get some phosphate in there and make sure my coral doesn’t starve. It’s wild how fast your nutrients can bottom out with a bunch of macro and only a few small fish.

To avoid bottoming out nutrients I have to dose now and again, even in a tank with lots of fish, frequent heavy feedings, etc etc.
Yea I should prob buy whatever people dose to bring up their PO4 and NO3, seems easier. I haven’t had this problem in awhile lol.

New additions. Having such a hard time getting pics of these guys, they do not like their picture taken.

Tomini tang. His fins are a little rough but I fed him some enriched mysis tonight, hopefully that will heal up soon.

Moyers leopard wrasse, in great health! He even ate pellets at the transshippers. Then he ate a ton of enriched mysis tonight, he’s a happy guy.
