Many of us feel the same way about our tanks and inhabitants.

BTW - I'm sure you've heard this one a million times but maybe one more won't hurt!

My yellow tang won’t eat :( I think he misses his tang gang :(
The tank is looking much clearer today by the way.

The coral loss wasn’t as bad as I was expecting.

Austera rtn but WD , PC Superman and others nearby were fine.

Purple stag stn but slowed down now. I think it might live.

Birdsnest stn on the tips, but it’s already recovering. This coral grows so quick.

Things could be much worse. Thankful for what I have.

Ups and downs man... the tang will eat once things calm down. Its stressed to max and confused I'm sure. The appetite will come back.

Happy to see the corals pulled through ok. I lost 30% of my 52 species during the upgrade. U are fairing much better :)

Yeah power issues suck. Since you're using EcoTech pumps I would seriously consider getting their power thingy
I have maxspect gyres and mp’s. I have the battery backup it just doesn’t last long. It lasted me 5 hours :(

I thought the EcoTech battery backup lasted about 12-20 hours with an mp10, and about 10-12 with an mp40 -- I'm guessing that's not accurate? :(

I have the icecap one. They are all just capacitors essentially right? I’m not sure if the run times are different, most likely, the ecotech one is more expensive.

Well now you know, which is good for your future more expensive coral purchases !
True. I’m starting to recall the mental conversation I had with myself of why I didn’t get the ecotech over the icecap backup. Something along the lines of, well if I have an extended power outage my tank is f’ed anyways.

Who knew things were so resilient.

I’m just going to cover all my bases and go with the generator. Not rely on capacitors and AA battery bubble makers, helpful short term but long term will run out of juice.

Sort of mentioned above, look at Sochting Oxydators, I would never run a tank without one.
My temp dropped during the powercut and I lost a lot of sps but the first thing I did was put the oxydators in the display.
