Help with possible identification.

While repositioning my torch coral while it was retracted i noticed an odd suspicious looking white thing. Can anyone identify. Looks like some kind of tubular worm? I always find comfort and appreciation here in Reef to Reef, what a great community and asset for the hobby.

Thats what I wondered. Never had one to my knowledge so I wanted to get a confirmation and advice on how to rid of it?

You could just scrape it off. They are harmless filter feeders

Do you see any antenna coming out of the end of the tube? Could be a type of vermetid worm.

No. I have seen vermitid snails. This look really different.

Just a tube worm. It's friendly. I'd leave it be; beneficial filter feeder.
