Just built this stand for my 92 corner, any pointers on plumbing? Suggestions or tips? Also, if i have to turn off return pump for maintainance, how would i stop the water from draining out? Drilled st bottom.

That overflow box controls how much water comes out of the tank when the pump is off. Inside the overflow box are two pipes. I assume you will have one drain one return. The drain should be set just below the weir teeth. NO NEED TO USE GLUE IN THERE.Just built this stand for my 92 corner, any pointers on plumbing? Suggestions or tips? Yup, I would do a Herbie.Sorry
what is a herbyYup, I would do a Herbie.
More flow
Less a chance to flood
Quiter
what is a herby
If I do herbie can I use different sized tubes? The max overflows return pvc isn’t as wide as the drain. I guess I’ll just run a pvc straight up from where the pump is onto the side. I have to leave a gap regardless between the wall. But would this work or do both emergency and main drains2 pipe overflow
1 pipe is a full syphone
1 pipe emergency that always has a trickle.
You can but let's investigate. If I do herbie can I use different sized tubes? The max overflows return pvc isn’t as wide as the drain. I can do it, I built the whole stand, I can learn plumbing. I paid 80 for the max overflow that’s why I would like to use it. Or are you saying I should replace the smaller pipe only? That’s definitely doable if that’s the caseYou can but let's investigate.
Are the nipples under the tank threaded in?
If yes, it would be better to hard plumb. A trip to home depot. Need thread to pipe, pipe, and a gate valve. And pipe glue.
You can use what you have but you still need a gate valve. It will look and act janky using the pipe.
Are you handy? It may look overwhelming but it's really not what you do it once or twice.

Does the main siphon and emergency syphon have to be the same width.Hard plumb both.
So many threads on how to do.
If you need help, we can walk you through.
Gate valve needs to be at the sump.
Main syphone needs to be >5" below emergency.
Emergency should be 1/2" below wier so less splashing noise.
Because you see how in the pic one is wider than the otherHard plumb both.

Use the small one as the main and the larger as the emergency.Because you see how in the pic one is wider than the other
Can I use soft tubing for like 3-6 inches and then pvc? I have a tight fit between wood of the stand and the nipple.Use the small one as the main and the larger as the emergency.
You can use whatever to get water from point A to point B. Just make sure it doesn't leak once your done. Can I use soft tubing for like 3-6 inches and then pvc? I have a tight fit between wood of the stand and the nipple.

Just use the small pipe for full syphone. Large as emergency.
Return over the back.
