thanks, i will try to find something i can use in local hardware.
I notice that there is some space between the stand and the plumbing. A nicely trimmed piece of styrofoam between the stand and plumbing to take up that space will help. Plus it will eliminate vibrations which can be noisy.

Yes there is. I am thinking of cutting a piece of wood and put self adhesive rubber pad then a clamp for pvc.

Hi OP

I'm in Australia and in the same predicament.
Bought a eShopp L and now having a hard time trying to find a bulkhead that would fit.
1" Bulkhead from eShopp has an outer diameter of 33.4mm where our metric pipe size comes in 32mm.

Just wondering did the Teflon idea work for you? Thought Teflon should only be used on threads
I've been scouring the internet trying to find a suitable metric bulkhead that's low profile (like the ones from eShopp) but zero success.
The Bulkhead you found sits quite high and doesnt really allow for a bean animal setup. Interested to see how you went

Hi pheyo, the bulkheads i got do the job for me. I always like the simplicity and silence of herbie overflow and i actually didnt know how bean animal works and it looks complicated for me.

Regarding the teflon tape idea, i didnt tried it.
Saltwateraquarium has all the US sized fittings and also the US to Euro coupling.

I will fill the tank tomorrow. Hope i dont have leaks.
