Hello everyone,

I wanted help identifying this coral. I bought this coral from a LFS. I was told it was a blue green sympodium and that it would be a good starter coral. Once I got home and did additional research I realized that it doesn’t really look like that but I might be mistaken. It has pulsing that makes me thing it might be a Xenia. What do you all think? Thank you!

I'm far from expert, but another possibility might be clavularia or clove/glove polyps. I'm pretty sure I've read that these pulse, but I have no firsthand experience.
There are brown star polyps (briareum), but I think they appear to have smoother tentacles around the polyp rather than the feathered appearance yours seems to have.
