I was able to remove some of it easily but it is still growing. The corals don’t seem to be affected by whatever this is but still bothersome. The only thing I did over the w/e during a water change was to scrub the rocks with a toothbrush and I think may have upset my copepod population. No, you didn't post in the wrong place.
I am sure a lot of people have looked at it, (including me), and have no idea what it is.
Hopefully someone will come on who knows what it is soon.
Is it possible to remove it?
Thank you! I have been removing with a tweezer but whatever it is is still growing. I did use a toothbrush this w/e on my rocks so not sure if I upset my copepod population. So much to learn! It may be some type of sponge. It's hard to tell from the pic. It seems to be encroaching on your zoas, use a tweezers to remove it.
