hi I’ve just done my one month dosing of trace elements after receiving my first ICP test back

Now I’ve just received my second ICP test back which I’m going to repeat what I’m dosing last month again, but this time I am dosing fluoride in with it all

Basically, my question is I need an awful lot of fluoride in my 620 L system

I will attach a photo of my last ICP test, Fluoride dose (58.01 ml par day ) for 7 day (total 406.07ml) does this sound right to you guys?

I'm not sure if fluorine at 0.19ppm is plausible or not. But the test says basically there's only like 10% of the expected F. So that recommendation dose is for you to raise it to full seawater.

I don't think you need flouride in the tank based on Randy's article on it. Might be worth a read if you don't want to bother dosing it.

Would need to know the concentration of the dosing solution If that is the amount to raise your 0.19 ppm to 1.5 ppm.

download reef moonshiners calculator. then enter all your values, and it will tell you how much of what to dose...except...we that do this, use those products. I can tell you, my tank destroys flouride!! it ran through 2 bottles, just to catch up. after about a week...I noticed a bunch of new colors in all my corals. so it is necessary

Thanks for getting back to me. I wanted to do moonshine but can’t get it in the UK the beginning of the year I started to use reef zlements icp and started the dose trace elements I have noticed a slowly increase in colouration in my SPS last year. My SPS was not looking great through to my own faults of lack of water changes doing it this way I can keep on top of my parameters around a busy lifestyle, yes I will download the calculator thanks

These photos were taken a few days ago the beginning of the year I had drown SPS and just doll colours so really noticing a big change around over this half of the year

I’m hoping to get more poly extension as well over the next few months once I get my parameters back on track fully think I’ve got quite a way to go yet but getting there and getting used to using trace elements
