Help with cycling tank

I have been cycling a tank for about a month now. My nitrates & nitrites were rising, and my ammonia was up so i knew that my Tank was starting to cycle I dosed with fritz turbo start and I added 2 damsels to help the cycle. (there was ammonia in the tank before adding fritz so the bacteria did have food) since adding the damsels 1 has perished but the other is going strong. Now my nitrates and nitrites are at 0 and my ammonia level has come down to 0.25 so I knew the tank was doing its thing but i Don’t know what to do. I am lost and need help!

are you feeding the tank enough? also what test kit are you using to measure the ammonia?

How are you measuring Ammonia and other parameters? Which test kits?

If Nitrite/Nitrate are zero I strongly suspect Ammonia is also zero.

If so the next step would be to slowly add fish - no more than 1 per week.
What size is the tank and what sort of filtration are you running?

Seems the cycling has complete so you can start adding livestock of your choice slowly. You might also want to start adding beneficial bacteria like MB7 weekly.

I am feeding every other day because of the fish and I’m using the api master kit

I have the api master test kit and I’m just using the filter sock and carbon and media balls that came with my tank

Okay, the API kit is okay to start but you're going to get a lot of people suggesting that you buy better tests - especially if you plan to populate the tank with coral.

Your Ammonia level is zero. The API ammonia test is extremely unreliable.

I'm not sure how big your tank is and whether you have rock in the tank.
If you do have rock was it live rock or dry rock?

The type of rock will make a difference to the initial stability and filtration ability of the tank.
