Help with Clown Fish, SICK?

My clown fish is tunning Black!

This has just happened in the last week, this is not the first time this has ever happened to one of my clown fish I have had. When I first set up my aquarium after cycling I introduced a pair of clown fish that showed this same symptom prior to passing away, I cant figure out why this happened!

I have had this clown fish for over 1 1/2 years, none of the other fish show any system of anything, the clown turning black acts fine.

I have one coral that just closed up 2 days ago, I dint know if there is a related issue but all the other corals are doing well. Thoughts anyone?

Ok spoke to the LFS, they told me my clown is just fine, apparently as they age there colors may darken. My clown has gone from a bright Orange to a dirty pumpkin Orange with black speckles. I don't know maybe I just didn't notice the color change happening gradually but it seems like it all happened in just a few days.

The LFS said the tragic deaths of my first pair of clowns was most likely not related any change in pigment but rather some other unknowing cause.

Anyone ever seen their clowns change color as they aged?

unfortunately i have never had a fish long enough to see changing color due to age, it makes sense. now i have saw a picture of a old flame angel that you could tell it colors had faded. hopefully someone here can chime in and get you the info you seek. good luck
