So, I have done some printing for non fish stuff, but wanted to try printing for the tank.

I was going to make a lid, but it's a rimless tank so I was wondering how could I edit the stl to add just a small lip only on the corner pieces at 7mm in from the edge? Could someone help? I have no cad experience.

I wanted to add a small post or lip on the under side of the corner about 7mm in. So when I place it on a rimless tank it doesn't move.

Well, I'm an engineer. After using AutoCAD and 3d modeling software for 20 years, adding that little lip was about as simple as it gets...lol

I've attached the .stl for you.

If you really want to learn, get the free version of fusion360, it will be more than adequate for the average hobbyist. Then watch Lars Christensens videos. Start with absolute beginner 1 and 2. Go from there.

It used to take me hours to do basic things but now I can do most stuff in minutes. What I mean is you got to stick through it in the beginning and spend the hours.
