Just got my first ICP test back. My corals are all doing good, better than ever I’d say. But there are some major issues. I don’t see where any possible corrosion could come from, and all magnets are intact. Could aluminum be increased through the use of PhosGuard? I use it but not for a couple months now. I also added a small bag of CupriSorb a few days before I sampled the water, not sure if that might help?

I should mention: my RODI water came back undetectable for anything but silicon.

Another thing: it says copper at ~9 ppb and iron at 11 ppb are ok - are they?

The copper is probably OK, and the cuprisorb may have dropped it to thatt level and maybe it was previously worse. The iron certainly is, and the aluminum is probably OK too. Phosguard certainly adds it, but I do not know if that is where yours came from.

Zinc is pretty high. No metal hose clamps under water?

None, the only metal is the flipper scraper, any metal in the impellers of pumps, and the magnets of pumps, which are all sealed

Good to know the rest probably arent an issue.
