Dear all knowing R2R, it’s been a fun ride building this tank but today it seems something was way off, almost everything is dying - I’m curious what the major issue could be, all information I provide may or may not be relevant. Is it bacterial?

Acros(dying):

are turning a little light, some are clearly bleaching from bottom up, others have

tissue decaying from top into brown algae like substance (not very much)

LPs(unhappy)

Torches and hammers are all shrunken, none died. a Duncan is also closed up

Sofies:

Cispitularia that has grown so much and seem indestructible shows noticeably some dark tentacles - which is a first

I did dose some microbactor 2 days ago, and have started using nutramar live microalgae (I think that’s phytoplankton right)

Parameters:

8 month mixed reef with acros alive til today

Sal: 1.025

Cacium: 430

Mg: 1480

kH: 8-9

Nitrate: 10ppm

Phosphate: 0.23 (increased from 0.07 from feeding)

pH: 8 but can’t tell color that well

Voltage in tank: 5.60volts

Image below shows the dying acros and unhappy softies including cispituaria with new dark polyps. What is happening here, and what could I do? ICP test is sent out today but will take a while for results (previously iodine was little low so I dose some)

10 ppm seems a little high for nitrate, but I doubt that’s the issue….whats the water temperature? I had some corals bleach once when my tanks water got to warm.

Nitrates of.25 is acceptable, the phos is high and should be .03-.1

do you have a TDS meter on your RODI system? If so what does it say? I also recommend sending out an ICP as soon as you can, ATI's tests both your tank water and your RO water

What is your water source, and water charge schedule. Salt used and how do you measure.
I usually change water once a week 10%, I get ro water from LFS, sometimes I get premixed other times I mix it myself. I use this salinity meter to measure, it was calibrated so I think it’s fairly accurate

I use INKBIRD there hasn’t been any swings lately, i keep temperature always around 78-79 since I started the tank

I calibrate with ro water before use, it’s from Amazon, do you think my salinity could be off? I could get another one
The easy way is to get calibration fluid
