URGENT UPDATE:
Bad news guys.. The nem looks even worse now.... :/

Poor guy finally fell off the rock today, and what I'm assuming are his guts are coming out now.. I haven't gotten the acclimator box yet, and the freakin clownfish is picking at the nem now.

Is he finally a goner? Should I isolate him now?

I wish I could have done more.. :(

Another Update:

Sorry for updating you guys so often, but I feel that I need advice on this nem.

This morning before I left for school it was on top of the rock and looked a LOT better than before. But I just came back not too long ago and saw that the nem had moved back under the rock and closed up again. Why would it move back?

Any ideas on what I should do now ??

Hard to say. Just leave it alone in my opinion. If it’s attached to the rock, then that is a good sign.
It looks stressed to me, hopefully it can find a stable spot to recover.
the clown seems to love it...not sure if that’s part of the problem or not.
Yeah, I'm just gonna leave it to for now.

As for now, I'm waiting for my acclimator box to come in so I can put the clown in it.

It's going to be so much fun chasing the clown around the tank until I catch him.. haha

Good luck with your nem! One of nature’s greatest creatures! :)
Thanks! This is technically the first nem I've ever had, so I have a lot of learning to do!!

Reefing is such a frustrating yet addicting hobby o_O

No matter how many times we screw something up, it just makes us want it even more! Lol

I would try a different preset for the AI Prime. try the Saxby settings or AB+. You can download them on the AI Facebook group or directly from the AI website.

I'm not seeing any mesenterial filaments but it's hard to see in the pics. Do you see white strings coming out of the mouth? All I see are tentacles.

Nems can expel their filaments then suck them back in but none of mine have ever done that. Maybe someone else can weigh in who have experienced it. Still not turning mushy though??

No. It still looks fine (well, as fine as it can be).

I hope someone else can chime in

Have you tried testing all of your parameters again and maybe having an lfs fest them? I’m not really seeing anything that should be giving the anemone so much trouble, so maybe one of your tests got messed up somehow or is expired.
