So I have had my tank been pretty much a stack of boulders and I really would like to change that.bellow I have a few pictures, one is of my tank and the circled area is the area I would like to change out also below is some old dry rock that I have. I would love to make a tank that looks somonehwat like some of the pictures bellow (the ones with heavily planted coral ect) I just really need some help and ideas to change my tank to the way I want it.

more questions:
So the area I circled those rocks would stay in my system but I’m wondering if it would be ok for me to crack them open and use them in my new scape?

tank specs:
I have a 55 galling tank that is 4 feet long 1 foot wide and two feet tall the tank is around a year old and well established

(ps the tank with the black circle is mine the rest are tanks I would love to replicate) I would love to have something exactly like the last one

To be honest I think yours looks great. It just sucks now cause the rocks are white and new, but give them a year and there will be plenty of Color and it will be great. After all, your comparing your tank to very established tanks.

However my pet peeve is unpainted back glass. It’s ok if it’s a room divider, but up against the wall like yours we can see all the wires and machines. Paint it blue it will look better. Just my 2 cents
