Hello guys! So I’ve just added my first coral to my 30 gallon tank. It’s a GSP, Green star polyp. I did a 5 minutes dip Reef Primer shot, then remove it from the frag base and added it to the thank. But I’m worried, it’s all contracted and I’m afraid I’m might have killed it. Also I think I see some Aptasia on it. Show I try to kill the Aptasia?

If you were just handling them, and just added them to the tank, its not abnormal for GSP to stay closed for a day or two at a time. Any clearer shots of the suspected aptasia? Also be careful with GSP, while they're a great coral and look good, they tend to grow like crazy and can very very quickly take over a tank.

Hydroid , and possibly bryopsis.

Defiantly relax. Gsp is kinda bullet proof. And wil actually zombie. I killed mine once, is 12 in wide now.

So not a delicet coral at all. But sometimes grumpy.

Don’t be afraid to take it out and put it in a dish and use a soft toothbrush on it. The skin is tough, but it’s going to be grumpy.
