Hi guys,
I have a 35”x27”x19” (90x70x50cm) tank, the way it’s set up in the room, I can only use mounting arms for the lights. My first thought was 2 32s, but im wondering if i would have issues lighting the entire width, or if I’m better off with some other lights,
I have a budget of around 800e and most likely will go with soft dominant tank,

Thanks in advance

I had 3 prime 16hd's on a 48x24x18 and had no problem keeping LPS and softies running well below max power. I recently upgraded to 3 of the hydra 32hd as I'm going sps dominant and the spread is fantastic especially with the diffusers made by 3d reefing. So 2 32s should easily meet your needs!

2 reefi uno 2.0
Agree, 2x Reefi Uno2 Pro's will even grow SPS (in case you want SPS in the future). I have one Uno2 installed over my Fiji Cube 32g AIO (24"x 15"x 16" display size) sps tank a week ago. Freaking awesome already! I believe 2x Uno2s will be more than enough for my tank.

Uno2 is the best LED that I have owned so far, in terms of coloration, PAR power, light spreads (comes with a 90 and a 120 degree Reeflectors to suite your spread configurations), quality, loads functional features and the whopping THREE Year warranty. If durability lasts (a week is too short to objectively evaluate this but 3 years warranty backs it up), I HIGHLY recommend it.

Do you think a pair of UNO’s would cover a 36x36x16” 90g tank?

Currently I have one Uno2 over my 24x15x16" (display dimension) tank. Shadowing becomes a big issue to those SPS at the far left and right. It has nothing to do with spread or PAR for Uno2 is a nuclear power plant. I am saving money for the second Uno 2 to solve the shadowing problem.

If you use 2x Uno2 for your 36x36x16", you should not have any problem (e.g. shadowing or PAR) at all. You will have a perfect lighting system for the most demanding corals.

How do like the hanging system? It looks kinda messy, imo. Can you adjust the wire length? Thanks again.

@Maximus, "How do like the hanging system? It looks kinda messy, imo. Can you adjust the wire length? Thanks again."

Uno2 provides a pretty standard cable hanging system. It hooked up to my swivel TV wall mounting brackets.
This is my diy TV wall mounting brackets. The main feature is "SWIVEL".

I shortened the cable length by double folded it. It hangs 11" from the water surface. PERFECT for now!:beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: I am still able to raise Uno2 one or two inches by raising the small wood block. Aesthetically, Uno2 (and most US made) cable hanging system appearance is no way near the GNC Blu-Ray M-Pro. No one beats the Italian design; they are just at another level. The effort they put into design and level of detail is mind blowing. I had never thought of something could be hooked up like that - elegant and simple. There are no ugly hooks, bolds and nuts at all. The steel cable mechanics concealed completely "inside" the 4 tiny ears and flush with the light panel.
