Ive just got my crocea clam yesterday, but ive found my clam's mouth open pretty big. Is that normal? It's open and close normal and fast reflection of lights and shadow. I've feed it some phyto also.

Not an expert in clams but I think it's filter feeding. Entirely normal and will get even larger as he gets bigger. Also don't move it too much

Tank looks a little young for a clam, but having said that that doesn’t mean you won’t have success it is a maxima clam, so it’s probably gonna prefer being placed on a rock. Think of it as an SPS coral, and treated accordingly
