Hello,
Been running for almost three years, upgraded into this tank about two years ago and have been adding various bits over the years but have been battling hair algae for about a year and have been cleaning it off, sea hare, endless snails but nothing seems to make a dent then sea hare and snails have since died.
I had an issue with one of my lights so that’s been off for a while and I haven’t cleaned the back wall for a couple of months now as I’m trying to leave it and see and it actually seems to be better just leaving it be.
I got my lights both working again and have now noticed white hair, this looks like bacteria the same that I can see under some of the rocks.
So the question is do I just leave this be and see what happens or now that the lights back on will it turn to algae and am I better off scraping and siphon out?
