Hi all,

A few weeks ago I posted about two of my torches having Brown Jelly, I removed them and put in quarantine and tried coral dips and cutting off the heads, but they died in the end. They did last almost 2 weeks.

Today I found another torch dead with the same Brown Jelly, almost two weeks after putting the other two in quarantine! This coral was perfect yesterday and gone today.

I know people say that once a coral has it that's it, but is there something I can do to prevent it? Do I need to put my UV on? Treat the water with something?

Please any help would be great

If your tank parameters are on point and tank is stable and not the cause of euphyillia degradation. I would recommend using in tank Cipro treatments. This is so far the best solution for BJD.

As for individual dips.

Peroxide Dips

And

Iodine + Chemiclean + Amino Dips works well.

Keeping an eye on euphyllia flesh recession and being proactive before actual tentacles/meat damages is usually the best. Once damages exceed flesh the chances of recovery drops significantly.
