Hello NOOB here with Reefer 250 starting my journal

Ok so it been a while since I posted anything and so far all is going great
here are some pics of my previous aquascape and my new one
i got a guy from Brazil 3 time world champion planted tank aquascaper named Luidi Doim come and re do the aquscape as well as some new fish a melanarus wrasse and a neon dotty back

Thank you guys right now we are preparing for Hurricane Irma to hit us hopefully i will be able to maintain everything alive over here will keep you guys posted

I was very lucky with the hurricane didn't even loose power, got some nice corals from WWC today that i added to the tank as well as changed the plumbing on the tank here are some pics

I like your setup. Is that a reactor that it goes to then flows back to the refugium back into the return flow section? If so what kind of reactor. I like that setup so much better than mine. I would totally redo, my reactor leaks and this looks like you can disconnect easier than what I can do in the refugium.

Glad you liked it Sith! and as i said thank you very much for the material list. I placed a UV sterilizer on the outside of the refugium so i don't have to worry about the UV sterilizer killing most of the Pods.

Hey bud how’s the tank? I’m having some cloudy water problems and need a UV sterilizer. What brand do you use? Maybe some better pictures as well? Thanks

At what stage of your build did you start running the UV Sterilizer? The reason I ask is I have an EXTREMELY bad red slime problem and was wondering if UV would help.

Hey guys sorry for the late response but I've been really busy getting ready to take my instrument rating written exam but here is a picture of the UV sterilizer i got its a lifeguard UV
ill try to get a better picture of the plumbing on the tank some time tomorrow!!

I didn't really have any algae problems or anything i tried to be proactive and added the UV it goes from my return pump to the UV and then the refugium

right now im out of the country should be back in about two weeks i am currently using the rs 250 as a frag tank im gonna ask my friend who is watching the tank to send me a couple pictures, my main tank is a rs350 and currently only have 3 testing sps will post pictures tomorrow
