Hi and welcome to R2R! Here you’ll find people to be friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We’re glad you joined! Hopefully you’ll start a build thread. We’d love to see your build as it progresses. It’s already looking great! Nice coral selection too.
Thank you! I’ll look into doing that, still learning the ins and outs of the forums! Also the corals are great, I picked most out but lucked out with a yellow tip + Dan Aykroyd acros in TSA mystery packs today!

Hey everyone!
Not new to reefing but stopped for a while after my transition to Florida. I’m apartment living, so for now I have a nice IM 20 Peninsula mixed reef. Really starting to stock up on my corals now.

setup:
AI prime 16HD
IM desktop UV sterilizer
fluval 306 canister filter
AI Nero 3
Tunze ATO

livestock:
Orange Ocellaris
Black Ice Ocellaris
Royal Gramma
Skunk Cleaner
Random snails + 3 hermits

Welcome! Glad you joined. My sister loved living in Tampa. She changed jobs this past year with a DC company that will let her relocate back to Tampa, doing work from home.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you in Tampa:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:

Nice system.
What settings are you running the 16hd at?
I run 2 over my 20.
They are great lights.
At the highest, I’m running them at 28 watts. Idk if this is too little. Smart LED lights like this are definitely new to me.
