hello guys, my name is Cristian and I'm writing from Italy.
I have a 70x60x50 mixed coral reef tank unlimited with ati 10x24w, two tunze 6055 movement, calcium reactor, atb skimmer with psk600 pump.
The reef tank is about 2 years old now has a cyanobacter infestation and algae under it.
I screwed up the peroxido test and the cyans react.
I have read in many forums the use of Sochting Oxydator to combat cyanide and algae, but I have never had an approach to this.
Can I get some advice from you if anyone uses it?
It's safe?

Thanks a lot for your support
Christian

Benvenuto! Questa e la prima forum del’ mondo per la scogliera! Per piacere iniziare un’ build thread. Vogliamo molti ritrati!

My Italian is a bit rusty but I think I’m in the ballpark here…..

Translation:
Welcome to the best reefing forum in the world for reefing! Please start a build thread. We want lots of pictures. :)

I am hardly one to give false compliments. Trust me when I tell you if I give a compliment it’s because it was earned. The people here are top notch. I’ve made some really good friends here. It’s about as close to being family here as a forum can be. I mean that.

Everyone here is knowledgeable. Some of the greatest reefing minds are members here.

People here are willing to go the extra mile. They have a lot of great advice if one’s willing to listen.

We tend to be friendly and laid back here. If you ever have questions please ask.

Welcome to the RR community! Honestly the tank doesn’t look as bad as you make it out to be, in my opinion after seeing the pics. The corals seem pretty healthy even with the furry on the scape. If you have cyano, I’d recommend Chemiclean if you can get it and as far as the furry algae manual cleaning and a solid clean up crew(cuc) helps a lot. Otherwise, it’s a nice looking tank !
