Heater Broke and I am leaving for trip I live in socal and I bought a new one but it was too long for my sump. I will be back Tuesday night current temp 79 with no heater used for last 3 days.
Its been in 80s and my house sits from 70 -81. Do you think it should be fine I have a 50 watt thats in my qt but feel like It wouldnt help and might be too much for heater to be on for 3 days straight. Should I use the 50 watt or I should be fine because house shouldn't drop below 70 and will be in mid to upper 70s durring day. Tanks about 85 to 100 gallons of actual water once you take into account the rocks and sand. Added weather till Tuesday will be back that night.

Throw in the 50w it will keep the up and downs less.

Why wouldn't you just put the heater in your display for now?

Was just making sure a heater being on constantly for 3 days wouldn't damage it. Set it to 77 to be safe. Sometimes we over think things when it comes to our tank.
