Hey all just wanted a second opinion on the color of my frogspawns lower base tissue. In the picture it’s closed because it’s nighttime cycle in the tank and it always looks amazing in the day and fully open and just stunning. But being newer in the hobby I’m still learning what to look for in coral health so I’m looking to see if this is something that is ok.

Nice healthy tissue down to the base. No recession that I can see.

As it grows, you'll start to see more green at the base, But it should always have nice white flesh down to the base.
