Health risks of QT medications/treatments?

For the first time ever I'm setting up a fish quarantine tank, it's a bit overwhelming researching all the various medications out there.

It's a 10 gallon tank which is in my bedroom. Should I be concerned using any types or medications since I'm in close proximity with the tank? My plan is use it an an observation tank, and then treat if necessary. Maybe I'll proactively treat for internal parasites, but adding copper or harsh treatments is definitely only if necessary.

Should I avoid any specific kinds of medications?

Setup:
-10 gallon tank with rock
-submersible filter
-powerhead
-fan for cooling.

Avoid formalin based products that might de-gas into the room (pretty rare to find those though).

All of the other medications stay in solution, so unless you directly contact them, there is no real risk.
