I got a few picture of one of my favorite angel, which clearly show the nuptial coloration of the male. I don't think I ever seen this documented, or mention ever, except by myself. I just want to share the joy and beauty of this angel.
Hope everybody enjoyed this beautiful angel as much as I did.

View attachment 3035886Here’s my trio, I think the one on the right is the male.
The largest one with pointed anal fin (fully extended) is the male. The female anal fin may look pointed when partially retracted but will look round when extended. This is the completely sure as nail way to sex Flame Angels

168 gallons with lots of rock and only soft corals that aren’t tasty to them.
When you mean soft coral that aren’t tasty, do you mean they don’t mess with all soft coral? Thinking about getting one but I have zoas , mushrooms, Toad stool , gorgonian, and GPS

I don’t keep soft coral or much LPS. Just clams, SPS and anemones. My angels do not seem to bother th clams or anemones.
somebody pick and clean the Xenia from my tank fairly quick.
