I just put this Haitian anemone in my tank about 10 minutes ago. His mouth got HUGE. Is this normal?? Picture attached!!

Just curious how old is the tank? I think a gaping mouth is not a good sign.. did you acclimate it etc etc normal questions everyone will ask
2 months old. Parameters VERY stable. 0 ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. He started to close up and now he is closing up a lot and then opening to normal and back and forth.

I can guess what many will say in response. I’d say just keep it stable check all params daily and try to get good bacteria in there. Ocean rock or phyto pods microbacter7 or all of it haha good luck!
