My tank is a 11.4 gal aio cube, I have a froggy, a Yuma, a green unknown mushroom, a Stylo, zoa's, and monti. My hair algae is irritating my froggy and my clove polyp(forgot to say that) I have 45(!)(YES 45) astrea snails, 5 nass's and 1 turbo, the 45 came 2(1 full day) ago so should I just give it time?(1/4 of the rock with SHORT hair algae is gone, now the only thing left is the inch long strands) what should I do?

Pick what you can by hand and it will give the snails a chance. The snails often ignore long strands but may be effective on super short patches.

Blue leg hermits are great for hair algae as well.

How many hermits should I get, and ok! Should I just cut them off leaving small stubs of algae for the snails? And I think I realized why I’m getting all of this, I have a dead Goni booger that has a red dot on it, me being my empathetic me w thought it still had a little bit of life in it , for 2 months
And it was dead, so I took it out XD don’t shame me tho
My young mind thought it was a good idea

Use something like a toothbrush to get as much algae off as you can.
Do it every day until you've found all the long stuff.

The snails and other CUC will trim the stuff but only when it's very short.

Have you ever done urchins. I love mine. Have 4 in my tank. 140ds with a 60 gallon sump.
I do not have any coral but I do understand they are reef safe and they have no issue eating hair algae 2+inches long.
