I like me my noopsyches. Pretty decent light. Good coral response. Good pricing point. Only REAL bad thing about NooPsyches is the janky controller. It appears NP listened and created an app for the mini light. If that is the case....this is pretty darn good light and my only real complaint appears to be addressed.

Noopsyche K7 V3 75w LED w/Mount Regular price is $175.00 X .6644295% = $116.27516
But now comes in the complete unknown. Is the controller a separate physical unit or is it going to be a phone app? So a lot of guess work here. The NP/Noopsyche K7 V3 Central Controller can be seen on sale at $39.00. I'll cut that in half to $20.00 for the smaller light. But if it's a phone app it should cost $0.00. So I'll split the cost again for guessing purposes to $10.00. So $116.28 + $10.00 = $126.28. (And yes, I put entirely too much thought into this as I drank my morning coffee, especially since it's still just a random draw chance of winning.)

This leads me to interpret it to be an app for a phone that can use either WiFi or Bluetooth to communicate with the light. Otherwise, why spend the $ for another chip on both the remote and the lamp if locking people into a proprietary remote?
