Could be a branching variety? My GSP grows "horns" all over. The first branch it shot out I cut off because I thought something was wrong. Turns out this is just the way it grows.

Hey everyone thanks for responding on this thread. This is how it curls up with when the lights are on. Attaching two pictures one when the lights are just turned on and the second one is almost after 3 hours of lights on.

I see what you mean by curling. Very interesting. You'd think it would do the opposite. Hopefully someone here has an idea.
