Welcome to Greenville! Not sure if you've checked it out but there's a place on Firetower Rd called shore to door seafood. Never been there myself but they are supposed to have fresh seafood so they might have a better selection. Other than that I'm not sure of many other places around here that would carry that kind of stuff.

Thanks! Actually just got back from Shore to Door since its about 5 mins away, I typically don't buy in bulk but got 3 pounds of frozen octopus, I prefer fresh as I can portion off before freezing. Oh well gotta do what ya gotta do.

Yessir! Born and raised. Guess you've figured out most of what is around here fish wise. Ward's is pretty much your only option in town unless you want to risk what's at Petco. There have been a couple decent stores in town throughout the years but they have all closed up. Hopefully Dewayne keeps doing well with his little business because he keeps some pretty good stuff in stock and really seems to know what he's talking about. Other than that riding to Plymouth or Clayton/Raleigh are your best options. I've always liked fish fish fish in Plymouth but they didn't have as much in stock last time I went. I think the original owners did retire so they might just be going through a transition period but it's probably been a couple months since the last time I was there.

I am in raleigh waiting on the green light to start restoring power . Alot of behind doors information gathering right now . Got crews all the way from Canada to help with power outages

Still no power here in our part of Havelock. Generator is still up and running. One tree down in the back behind our fence, but it fell away from the house, so I'm good with that. Thankful that the flooding was bad here, but man is the Neuse River high. (I know it's only going to crest more as the water makes its way down)

Yeah alot of flooding going on from raleigh to the coast . Princeton is under water again if I heard right on the news .

ECU is shut down due 2 the flooding. And North Greenville has quite a bit of water by what we've heard.

As of right now according to Duke Energy's website (who are the company that powers the substations that run our area) their estimated time for the power to be on is October 16th in our county and the neighboring county. Boo.

Those are estimates . All depends on damage and how far you are from the main feeder lines .

The power literally came on as I was typing a response, so we're good to go. I know they were working very hard to get it back because we saw a ton of linemen doing their thing when we went into town. Hopefully anybody else who is out will be back up and running soon!

Is there anyone for internet besides Sudden link? They are overpriced for their services and to watch some of my shows like Ink Master I'm going to have to order Hulu. Had AT&T before at a much cheaper rate with way more channels.
