Mine has been doing the same thing if you found a cause?Did either one of you ever figure out what was causing the GSP to lose it's color? Mine is doing the same now after being in the same location in the tank for almost a year and nothing has changed, light is still the same, intensity as well as time is the same. I cleaned up the sand bed really well about 5 days ago. Meaning I pulled out the rocks and vacuumed it all. Tested for Nitrates and phosphate the next day and had 5 nitrate and .09 phosphate so a little bump from my usual 2 nitrate and .03 phosphate, not bad for disturbing the sand that much. Confused as to why the GSP suddenly did this
I’m having the same problem, it’s a new tank 5 weeks old, the polyps is 2 weeks in to been in tank, was extending and full of green, now doesn’t extend at all looks in a bad way to me but I’m new to this. Any advice appreciatedI am having same issue. Polyps fully extended but mostly brown. Plenty of flow and running two AI Prime HD’s.
