So my friend gave me a frag of green montipora digita to try in my tank.

The polyps at the top seem to be doing great but the trunk of the coral doesn’t seem to have much response. I only got it yesterday. I’m just checking if this is normal? (Pic attached). Could it be a placing issue? It’s right at the highest point in my tank. Running two RFG’s which are about 8 inches from it.

The last thing I want to do is kill it off. I’d much prefer to send it back if that’s the case.
