I know what he is I just thought I would post for others. This is a coral eating fireworm. REMOVE at all costs but do not touch.

Sweet! That's a for real one!!! I know you know that, but I think yours is only the second one I've seen removed from a tank!

Yes, this is an old post, but I didn't see it before. It's purrrrrrrdy!

How can you tell difference? I think I may have some these but always thought they were bristle worms.

It's the yellow stripes on the dark color "background". I saw the other thread, yours aren't the same. If it were, you'd already be hearing your doorbell :)

Just to be sure, these are not WORMS. They have legs, antennas, they walk very fast.

Alright, here's a stumper. I saw two of these floating around in the tank tonight. I managed to capture the smaller one. What the heck are these? They seem to have a sticky foot and tentacles like an anemone, but I only have one BTA in the tank. It's time to earn your keep, R2R! They look to be polyps of some sort, kind of like the larval stages of jellyfish, but I have none of those in the tank.

I agree could be a baby anenome or possibly a majano. If it's majano toss them out now they will plague the tank in a couple months.

I'm pretty sure it's not a Majano anemone. I was just really surprised to see two the things floating in the tank, and I was fortunate enough to capture one.

Here's an updated pic. Definitely looks like an anemone. I have the little guy sequestered in a jar in the sump. I just don't understand why he was floating around in the display tank like that. Maybe a case of asexual reproduction by pedal laceration?
