Is it harmful if so how to remove it dipping didnt work and trying to use tweezers didnt either

Ok is this the dreaded fireworm? It is at least 6 to 8 inches not stretched out finally grabbed it during feeding

These are in my overflow. The tentacles have the diameter of a pencil eraser. I dont have aptasia anywhere in the tank that i can see. These do look like tiny aptasia to me. Is there anything else they could be?

@JDJP Thery're aiptasia. It's common for them to grow in the overflow, even if no where else. I have some in back of my JBJ nanocube.

Could you try to get that for me? I just watched it on a normal size screen and that's not the base of a ctenophore. It reminds me of a vermetid, but the casting behavior doesn't fit.

Ive just read about these fireworms eating sleeping fish etcetc the little bristleworms dont bother me but this was a fatdaddy lol

I will totally get a better video tomorrow when lights are on and repost it its tough to see i know

Baby Bristle Worm? I found this crawling on my glass! It is the size of a thread and about 1/4" long! I tried to take a picture of it, but could not get it to focus properly. I finally took a bunch of video. This is the best one, but still blurry in places, it's very wiggly and I wanted to get a shot of the head.
