I think you’re right bro. I threw it out since I don’t want a mixed reef. Appreciate itMy guess, Hollywood Stunner chalice
I fail to follow the reason for this decision but it’s your tank and your choice.I think you’re right bro. I threw it out since I don’t want a mixed reef. Appreciate it
Well my tank is all soft coral right now and I don’t want something that is going to drain parameters and need dosing (alk, calcium) and it has stinger tentacles I heard so I don’t want to endanger my other soft corals. I also heard this coral was a really fast grower so I don’t want to take any chances. I know it’s wasteful but it is what I have chosen to doI fail to follow the reason for this decision but it’s your tank and your choice.
I respect your choice but you could have asked firstWell my tank is all soft coral right now and I don’t want something that is going to drain parameters and need dosing (alk, calcium) and it has stinger tentacles I heard so I don’t want to endanger my other soft corals. I’ll take your info to heart, I do feel a little guilty just throwing it out like I did, if I’m ever in a similar situation then next time I’ll just drive the 30 minutes to the lfs and donate it.I respect your choice but you could have asked first
Tiny frag won’t need dosing
All coral that grow use calcium and slk anyways
By fast growing you’re looking at 1/4” a month and it’s easily fragable by hand - imagine breaking a potato chip in half
Stingers are going to be less then half inch until it grows much larger, can put on top of a rock and never have it be an issue
Your tank your choice, just wanted to throw out some info
Agreed. Never throw out animals. You could always house it until it’s convenient to go, or until it’s a little larger. Then you could trade it for a softie or credit
Not even aiptasia, flatworms, nudibranchs, spiders, or bristleworms? (Just being facetious, )Agreed. Never throw out animals.

Yes I changed it to hid a few things. Are you looking for something specific?I’m locked out from vip @SBB Corals did pw change
I would've done the same thing. That chalice is a fast grower and unless you really like that particular coral, the best course is to throw it out or give it away.I think you’re right bro. I threw it out since I don’t want a mixed reef. Appreciate it
Fish store would've taken it!!!Well my tank is all soft coral right now and I don’t want something that is going to drain parameters and need dosing (alk, calcium) and it has stinger tentacles I heard so I don’t want to endanger my other soft corals.
