Gorgs shed constantly. So do people.
IMO , In our tanks we don’t have enough flow to blow them off little by little so it comes off in sheets.
I’ve played with that a bit and it seems to work.

I would agree with all of the advice. One thing left out though. High flow for gorgs are a more natural way to help them shed the unwanted algae.
