Afternoon all, so as the title implies, I have a photosynthetic purple gorgonian that is in need of a trim. How is the best way to go about this? I can not really remove the rock it is attached to, therefore must happen in place. I have never had to trim any of my corals yet, so I have absolutely no idea how to go about this. I do have a brand new small set of bone cutters. I know they are not really needed for a softie, just thought they might be good as they are very sharp.

Bonecutters will work fine. You can also pinch and twist or use a pair of scissors. Very easy to propogate :) Have fun!!
