My newest eel, a white eye moray named Loki has been with me a few months now. Let me tell you this dude is the goofiest eel Ive ever seen! Today he decided to come take the tangs’ nori off the clip and take it back to his burrow and hoard it! Observe his mischievous smile and the dark glob of nori he is sitting on! I knew I named him Loki for a reason!

I know :face-with-tears-of-joy:
Just saying my engineer does the same and then eats it.
So I figured out today what he was really doing. He had my damsel’s body in his little lair and was using the nori to cover it up!!! Lol

The other time i hang a squid infront of his face and for 5 minutes he literally has no interest in it and then I look away for 3 minutes i see my squid disappear and i spend 30 minutes just looking for it imagining an ammonia spike until i notice a big bump on the gray faces belly Lol

Ah, indeed! I was trying to find the id but later found out that it isn't a fangtooth but rather a pebble tooth so it wasn't a yellow edged moray but a echidna delicatula

Mine is rather a bit more darker but that might just be the case of either maturation or just that there isn't many pictures of observations of this particular eel and i would say that this certain species is extremely rare

Now currently my 3 new eels seem to be doing really good and the highfin moray which was more injured than the rest seemed to eat twice as much food than the rest!
