I would recommend DuPont's sealent but it is $100.00 a gallon plus! Home Depot sells a sealent and it seems to work very well. You should reseal the counter every 6 months to a year. You might consider Engineered Quartz like Silestone or Corian Quartz as the require no sealers and are non porous. Corian solid surface works great as well and is non-porous. All the Engineered Quartz products are National Food Service rated as well!Ooh, can I ask you for reccomendations on sealing granite countertops? I have a counter that hasn't been sealed but is going to be in a fish room.
Looking awesome tony!
Thank you. Im around most of the weekend. May run to airport Saturday morning If Delta manages to find a missing suitcase, otherwise we are around. Fortunately it was near empty. Found a luggage store with nice stuff at Super prices in Miami beach and snapped it up. We couldn't take it on carry on so checked it in and of course - Never made it on carouselLooking awesome tony!
Gotta come see this soon.

Yes on the Engineered stone...or there is a list of approved cleaners on the various manufacturer Web sites.Thank you!!
The counter top was found on site when we moved our business in so unfortunately I'm stuck with granite, I think the Corian found here was turned into window sills (we moved into building that used to house a tile and granite shop). I will look into the Dupont sealant though, we have a few other granite counters and surfaces in our building that will need that maintenance too. What do you reccomend for maintenance or cleaning of the engineered surfaces? Just soap and water for them?
I'm not a Scotch guy, but that's a dang fine haul!
He has a nice collection going on. If that's the case, did I mention I have 2 sets of that game of thronesMy husband would love you! He’s not into saltwater but his hobby is collecting Scotch. And he’s just starting to get into bourbon too. He has over 40 different kinds of Scotch now. He drinks some of the bottle and then it goes up in the “collection “ cupboard. If he likes it he buys another bottle to drink.
I think it's already sold out hahaI'm not a Scotch guy, but that's a dang fine haul!
