Good morning! Bought a new light a month ago. Last night I knocked it into the tank. I guess it's time to use up the $15 credit I have on Amazon.

Kids include a 1-1/2-year-old girl and a 3-1/2-year-old boy. I've never seen so much "stuff." The crazy thing is I have a portable crib, high chair, toddler cups/lids, etc. What is all the other stuff????????????????? It's not like they needed to pack a ton of food for the kids because the drive is just over 2 hours.

Oh, one thing they had to bring was the Spider Man fishing pole. Grandson was determined to go fishing in the pond behind our house. He's been very successful during the summertime. It was 26 this morning.

Fishing wasn't good.

Good morning yesterday and today. It's crazy how the world changes when the kids show up. I normally plan my morning walk with the dog. I've spent the last two days keeping my tanks "safe" and makes hundreds of pancakes! Not that I'm complaining.

We had lunch at our local son's house and had 4 of the grandkids together....well, 5 if you count the 8 months pregnant daughter-in-law. Trying to get a picture with me, husband, and the kids together was like herding cats!

I had eyelid surgery a couple of weeks ago and it is all healed. It didn't turn out exactly as I had wanted because I asked the plastic surgeon to make my lower eyelid look like Brad Pitt s eyelid but I think it looks more like his older brother. Arm Pitt.

I don't have my glasses on and when I saw the fuel tank I though that was a giant mailbox.
I bought a computer last night and got on the phone with Dell. I told them there was a $900 and a $1,200 computer on the site that looked the same one and asked what the difference was. "Uh, yes sir, those are the same computer". Guess which is the only one that shows up on their site search and which one I only found by chance through a link on some random google search.

Late again, but good morning anyway. The kids left earlier. Grammie is exhausted. Papa is exhausted. Kenzie (dog) is exhausted.

Just as they were about to leave, Kenzie went running in the backyard and tracked mud all over my kitchen. I'm used to that and keep old towels everywhere. Well, at the same time, the 18-month-old girl managed to open the door between the kitchen and dining room for the very first time and Kenzie went flying upstairs...mud and all.

Did I mention that Grammie is exhausted, Papa is exhausted, and Kenzie is exhausted?? It's all good. I will miss them. It will be entirely too quiet around here, but I don't mind it for the moment.

As I was walking on the beach waiting for the sunrise (which never happened and it is now 9:30) I saw this feather just stuck in the sand like this.
Maybe the seagulls buried one of their own.

When I was a kid, my parents would always say “Excuse my French” after a swear word. I’ll never forget that first day at school when the teacher asked if we knew any French.
