good morning.

christmas got postponed here due to "the storm of the century" and my son's roommate testing positive.
strange times we live in where no one needs to ask what he tested positive for.

christmas tomorrow, except now the daughter and son in law won't be here. he tested positive. no idea how as they rarely go out and he masks up when he does.

not rescheduling again. i'm tired of looking at christmas decorations.

Thats good news ReefGrammie. I know how he feels as I have the same thing and already went for the acupuncture a few times, chiropractor, MRIs, spiritual consultants and offer up tea leaves to the moon. Then you find out that isn't the problem so you get the spine shots and epidurals. (I think I had 5) But eventually they get it correct and just tell you that you are old so you take baths in aspirins and burbon.

But tell him in case he feels like rubbing pine scented muscle ache stuff all over himself to just get those little Christmas Tree air fresheners and hang them around his neck. They do the same thing. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I hope he feels better.

Thanks, @Paul B! He is scheduled for a week from Wednesday. Person asked him yesterday if he would prefer to have it done in the doctor's office with no anesthesia. He said ABSOLUTELY NOT! It will be in the surgery center with conscious sedation. I bet you were the type who said, no sedation, just give it to me straight! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Acupuncture is also on the list. We'll probably skip the tea leaves, but bourbon would definitely help...it might help ME tolerate his whining a little better!! :grinning-face-with-big-eyes:

Good afternoon everyone. Turns out I have a bad cold and only just woke up. Now I've had enough sleep to last a while. What upsets me more than anything is that I am always really careful, but on Wens I had to go to something at a convention center with thousands of people. There was absolutely no hand sanitizer anywhere and none of the doors propped open so you had to touch door handles constantly. I wonder how I got sick.

Thank you for asking! Growl Club was HUGE yesterday. We had about 10 dogs (most in muzzles) and by the end, the head trainer had Kenzie walking in the middle of the entire group. She had dogs on either side of her and dogs in front and back (she HATES dogs behind her and will keep spinning around to see them). She did SO well for most of the walk. By the end, she was getting reactive and I think was just over it. It's a long hour, and the whole purpose is to push each dog's limit, but not push them too far where they're overly stressed. It's been a slow process, but that's ok!

We had our best neighborhood walk ever this morning. She actually sat quietly on the sidewalk while I talked to one of my neighbors (a MAN at that), then she was nose-to-nose at the fence with another neighbor's Dalmatian (the only dog she has "tolerated" in the neighborhood so far). We know from her foster lady that she was mistreated by a man, so it takes more effort for her to warm up to men. I really think Growl Club is making a difference! I told the head trainer instead of two steps forward and one step back, it's more like one inch forward and a half inch back.

Hello all. Still sick and feeling whiney. Winter is messed up here this year. Usually our peach tree blooms in Feb-March with peaches over the Summer.
I just went out back and here it is today. It bloomed in mid December:

Yeah John, I am also having trouble with my peach trees here in New York. It's 28 degrees which I think slows down their blooming.
