Good Morning, for good or bad I don't always remember how old i am. (fyi 68) so i do what i want until i get tired. We moved into my "forever home" when i was 41, two story plus basement; bedrooms and bath second floor, living room, kitchen, and tanks on the ground floor, laundry, sump, and mixing station in basement. twenty seven years later i hear you saying that in twenty years i will probably have to move to a home on one level. mean while i am rehabbing a two story and basement that my 80+ grand parents were living in for 50 years. at least, there, a bedroom and bath are on the ground floor. i wonder, If your winter home is in the same state do you qualify as a snow bird? especially when you go north for the winter? be cool!

When I was a kid, my parents would always say “Pardon my French” after a swear word. I’ll never forget that first day at school when the teacher asked if we knew any French.

This actually reminds me of a true story! When I was a youngster, we moved to Puerto Rico for a few years. On my first day of school, this nice boy taught me some Spanish words. When my dad got home from work, I proudly demonstrated my brand-new Spanish words. The next day, my dad told his coworkers my new Spanish words. Apparently, that nice boy taught me every cussword he knew! :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Good morning! Work meeting actually went very well. They are still trying to make part time work for me. Management is realizing that replacing an "aging" specialized workforce is no easy task....finally. Goal is the end of October or November. :D

Have a great day! :)

I just came back from today's morning walk/run. I actually don't run, it's more of a Geezer jog but at my age no one goes very fast unless they are running from Nancy Pelosi. :anguished-face:

This is the farthest I have jogged since basic training over 50 years ago. Near the end of my 2 mile "run", I felt something exhilarating......I figured it was that runners "high" athletes speak about when they run for many miles. As I thought about it I realized it must have been that Harvey Wallbanger I drank before bed last night and think I may have just had a little gas.

A ghost walks into a bar and orders a whiskey. The bartender says, “Sorry, we don’t serve spirits here.”

Good morning
The final phase of the plan is close to completion. The 75 gallon is in the fish room and all glued up. I haven't made it wet because I haven't really decided what I want to do with it. I need some more rocks.

The puppy only weighed 34 pounds at the vet yesterday. Jill's math on the scale at home must have been bad. He is now larger than the other 3 dogs though.

I aggravated my back pretty bad with a shipment of salt. UPS left it on the porch and it was starting to rain so I quickly moved it inside. 55 pound bags.
So steroids and a neurosurgical consult.

CT scan of the right knee is next Wednesday to program the robot surgeon for the replacement.

I think I am going to opt for the total robotic body replacement. Not much on this one that works right anymore. I wonder if those rust in saltwater though.
