Right now I have a small tank full of the little buggers and they are probably not happy so I could probably be jailed for "CTP" or Cruelty to Pods. They are well fed, have places to hide, are in with their friends and family and in an hour I will throw them in my reef where the fast ones will find their way under a rock and live out their entire lives in peace.
Of course the slower, stupider ones will be fish food

You may think finding an amphipod vein to put the needle in is the hard part, but it is not. The hard part is not getting alcohol in their eyes when you swab them. They hate that and don't like the "Visine" you would have to put in their eye to relieve the pain.

Bear passed away Saturday night at home. It's like a tornado came through and tore off the left ventricle of our hearts. Everything here feels broken and pointless right now. Time will fix this but not enough has passed yet.
