Two months ago I ordered a candy cane pistol shrimp and yasha goby pair. No shipping update so I canceled the order. Money was returned and I decided to get a diamond goby instead. Going out to lunch there’s a box at the door. You guessed it shrimp/goby. My quarantine tank is down so had no choice but add to the tank.
Currently running an innovative marine 50 gal aio. It’s stocked with diamond goby 2 ocellaris clowns 3 green chromis 1 orchid dottyback 1 lawnmower and a fire shrimp.
Dottyback attacked the shrimp and can’t find them. Will they be ok?

A little update. Saw the goby for the first time in 2 weeks. Seems to be doing fine. Haven’t seen the pistol shrimp but that doesn’t mean he’s not still alive.

I never see our snail except at random times during the night. The shrimp is probably still in there!

No signs of the shrimp? They normally pick a rock to start a cave that and you'll see piles of sand or small holes that aren't there before.

But I'd imagine he's still in there.
