I have GHA scattered around my tank with chunks of corline algae that has only about 2% of the rocks covered.
Po4 is 0.07 (I have been targeting .05-.15)
No3 is 8.0
My strategy so far has been to get in scrap off the gha wait 20-30 mins and then replace the filter sock and run my refugium 24/7
I know it would be better to fully remove it just really hard to get around the aqua scape in the tight spots the gha seems to grow in.
My question is will I be effective with this method as well as weekly water changes to remove excess nutrients and the corline will eventually fill in and help prevent my issues or is there a better way to do this?
The tank in also 1 year old and I already went through an ugly stage way back when, and I think I got here with being to heavy in without heavy out.
