currently using used radion G5 XR15s paired with a 4x54 T5. Would love to show people there are other options than eco tech. Just started my growth so plenty of room for things to get big!!!

Hope your reef tank Refreshed, maybe you should take care of it more carefully

I just read terms at begginning of thread and says " lights will be sent from chinese factory" im not sure where this company is situated but maybe china and maybe english isnt first language of who wrote this and maybe even used google translate so maybe as we translate some languages,often words of full sentences come out wrong or words changed to something similar so maybe didnt mean it as it sounded.
A good example was off a war game i used to play and was a moderator and a leader off an alliance and often spanish speakers would say " you want war " but if delved deeper they actually meant " we dont want war" so often alot gets lost in translation.And if look first line it says " hope your reef tank refreshed" this isnt how i would write it as i would say " hope your tank recovered " or hope its doing better now so by this first line can see they showing caring/ compassion etc
Just thought would give my opinion on it anyhow ^_^

Entry 1 : Hi there my tank is an aqua one reef 300 which is 300 litre/ 80 gallons display with a roughly 80 litres sump,size of display is.....
Width = 40 inches.
Depth= 21 inches.
Height = 25 inches to surface of water.
T5 lights roughly 4- 5 inches above water built into hood.
Im only early on into my saltwater tank at 7- 8 months but do want to incorperate some led lights alongside my t5 lights.
I want tank full off coral but got advised learn water chemistry first and get stable and try best not to kill anything which is going ok apart from when cut up my gsp and glued to overflow in small pieces it been closed for quite some time and a leather toadstool coral literally got ripped off my rocks day before my holiday last week so put remains of coral in my qt/ observational tank and completely melted when returned from holiday,probably as lights was worse led ever made and parameters probably different as didnt have time to check or change. But torch coral, lobo,zoas and paly's all doing great and especially loving all tje different type of critters in tank ^_^
In sump i run activated carbon now because of the toadstool coral and a basic skimmer and some sponge as mechanical filtration and some rock is all.
Will look forward to see if successful in this contest or not ^_^



Here full tank video from few weeks ago before i moved lobo onto rocks and before toadatool had accident ( i think where 2 powerheads facing each other and flow directed downwards onto toadstool made the string holding it down rip through it )

Those look fine. Calcium test if you ever see any polyp issues with corals. Honestly, the api alk - calc- kits aren't too bad. It's the api ammonia that is highly untrustworthy. No need to hana unless you are running for fine tuning your system. Mostly for expensive corals and colors. Also...
