I recently moved to the city for work, and brought my whole pico tank setup along with me to California (see tank thread). With Manhattan Aquariums, New York City's central reef store, being shut down by the city, I've noticed it's much harder to find a community here.
I would love to gather a group of NYC reefers to start a user group here on Reef2Reef, with our own forum, banner next to our names, and centralized community. Would love to plan local frag swaps, and coordinate for things like Reefapalooza NY.
If anyone who lives in the NYC area (even Jersey City too!) is interested in starting a New York City Reef Club on Reef2Reef with its own banner, please reply to this thread!
